Announcements
World Wide Learn extends our deepest sympathies to those effected by the tragic events of September 11, 2001.
Considering the timing of those events, the course contest for last month was cancelled. The contest resumes this month and all of you who sent in your entries last month will automatically be included in the October contest draw.
The next issue of the World Wide Learn Newsletter is scheduled for November 7, 2001, however I will be delaying the publication of that issue until November 14, 2001. Having spent all my vacation time from my day job from the past 3 years working on the WorldWideLearn.com website, I'm finally taking a real holiday. Of course, being the "lifelong learner" that I am - its a learning vacation! I'm going on a research expedition with the Earthwatch Institute where I will be participating in an elephant survey at the Taita-Rukinga Wildlife Conservancy in Kenya, Africa.
I hope to publish an online photo journal of the trip when I return, and I will share that with you when its ready.
This also means that I will be unavailable from October 10 - October 27, 2001 (inclusive). You can still submit your programs for inclusion at WorldWideLearn.com; I just won't be able to review them until after I have returned from Africa.
