Learn Physics Today is a free online physics tutorial 
developed by Thinkquest. The tutorial covers basic skills, 
mechanics, lights and waves and electricity.

English2U offers free english vocabulary lessons via 
email with three new lessons each week. Each lesson 
includes three new words so you can learn gradually.

available 24/7 and are offered for credit. Note: this

Nepean Astronomy Internet Masters

The Centre for Astronomy at the University of Western 
Sydney offers a course-work Masters Degree in Astronomy 
that can be undertaken wholly via the Internet. The 
Centre for Astronomy is part of a consortium of 
Universities that run research grade telescopes remotely 
via the Internet (the Hands-On-Universe Project) and this 
resource will also be available to students. The heart 
of the Nepean Observatory is the 0.6-metre (24-inch) 
telescope. The telescope has been roboticised and can 
be used by students remotely via the Internet. The CCD 
camera system and computer allows students to capture 
images with the telescope and download them. A 
See-You-See-Me video-to-internet system, already in 
place at the observatory, will allow students to 
"virtually be present in the observatory".

Swinburne Astronomy Masters Online

The Swinburne Centre for Astrophysics and Supercomputing 
at the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, 
Australia offers online astronomy courses as well as an 
online Master of Science in Astronomy and a Graduate 
Diploma of Science in Astronomy.

Online Astronomy Course Using the Internet

free and will introduce you to various aspects of

Refraction Tutorials

Learn the basics of refraction with these free online 
tutorials. Some of the interactive features include a 
java simulation of a prism that allows you to dynamically 
manipulate the incoming light and see the effects on the

and see their effect on the spectrum formed as the light 
is refracted within the raindrop.

Advanced Microelectronics for Industrialists

Advanced Microelectronics for Industrialists is an 
online postgraduate course in microelectronics aimed at 
industry. The aim of the course is to increase the 
knowledge and skills of electronics design engineers 
by high quality supported training undertaken in the 
home outside normal working hours. The first three 
chapters of each module are public access, so you can 
see if the tuition is pitched at the right level for you.

Barbecue'n on the Internet

to this site for all the lessons and how-to's on 
barbecueing you'll ever need. If you're a beginner, 
they've got you covered with beginner lessons in 
charcoal and gas grilling. If you're already quite 
the chef, you'll appreciate the huge selection of 
tips, tricks, recipes, techniques, as well as 
information on spices, temperature, tools, cuts of 
meat, grills and specialty woods.
